Research institute polls 150 IT-decision makers in Europe and North America about their enterprise search
Online, July 29, 2016 (Newswire.com) - LINZ, Austria--Mindbreeze announced today that Forrester Consulting, an independent market research company, conducted a survey on behalf of the Austrian provider Mindbreeze entitled "Let Modern Search Solutions Be 'the Brains' of Your Enterprise"*. The survey's subject matter focused on the use of modern search technologies for dealing with corporate knowledge.

The results were clear: The current trend is towards intelligent knowledge management based on enterprise search. In 2015 nearly 43% of respondents used a company-wide enterprise search solution, doubling the need for this kind of application compared to the previous year.
For the survey participants, the benefits of enterprise search were clear - the availability of intelligent search tools and the integration of enterprise-wide search increases employee productivity and efficiency. More than 70% of respondents optimized their customer service and almost 62% accelerated their work process by reducing time and efforts spent on search.
24% of the survey's respondents deemed configuration of new data sources as very time and labor intensive.
In addition, the implementation of modern enterprise search systems, appliances in particular, is becoming faster and easier. Already, one-third of the respondents needed just 1-2 weeks for complete implementation, 13% of respondents needed less than a week.
